The file name for this page has been part of our website, seemingly from a time when Nev was a young farmer,
           or at least since when the site was first put on the web.
The idea was to have had a "database" used by villagers planning events, so they could check the proposed dates
           for planning non-clashing events, but at that time adding a real database to htm code was difficult,
                costly and probably employed proprietorial software.                 ( ... not open-source ?? )
 
We were lucky to have had a feed from    The Grapevine Diary    on our What´s On Page
           This service ended upon the retirement of John Flewin from the The Grapevine Team.
 
 
 
Perhaps      we should start a new "sed" page by listing our "traditional village events"
           technically it should not be too much of a challenge, but might our village organisers find this extra effort challenging?
