Covid secure harvest celebrations throughout our village, as a walking tour, or to view when driving past
At Stewkley we enjoy decorating our places of worship at Harvest Time
Pandemic precautions prohibited us having our buildings open as normal, so we decorated "the outside"
We were delighted that villagers joined in by decorating the front of their homes as well
Our theme was Thankful Harvest and was held on 19 th & 20 th September 2020
Displays were big and small ... floral, produce, scarecrows, or simply jam jars with flowers.
The children of our village school crafted decorations and helped to colour in the downloaded event poster
Locations of decorated garden fronts and communal display areas were included on a walk map,
then displayed on the village notice boards and made available as an online download.
A Great Big Thank-You to all who took part and supported our event.
