When Church Warden, Neil Dickens, suggested the idea of a Village Advent Calendar the PCC felt it was the perfect thing to add some light, colour and joy to what could be a darker December than usual.
Volunteers were recruited on the village facebook page
soon there were enough for a 'calendar' on both high street ends - plus assorted side roads.
So from 1st December look out for 48 windows popping up,
plus a display from the School and something special appearing at the Chapel too.
The window at St Michael's Church itself will go up on the 29th November as this marks the start
of the church season of Advent.
This year's focus is on the themes of Comfort and Joy
we very much hope the windows will bring some of both to those viewing them.
Thanks to all those taking part and to Cathy Hart for the fantastic location map
