Holly Blue - Celastrina argiolus
Flight time - April to September
Wingspan - 35mm
This is obviously a member of the blue family of Butterflies, it gets the other part of its name from laying its eggs on Holly, Ivy, and other shrubs.

It over-winters as a chrysalis, and the butterfly is seen during the summer months of April to September.
